Accessibility

Bifax not only acknowledge its legal obligation to comply with the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act, we recognise the importance of entering into the spirit of ensuring disabled people really can access the information contained within this website.

We have made every reasonable effort to comply with the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) A-level standard. You can read more about these standards at the W3C website.

We have used Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to set the colour and size of the text within each page. Although we have provided the convenience of being able to choose the viewable font size above, users can easily override our formatting options in:

  • MS Explorer by selecting Tools - Internet Options - Accessibility
  • Netscape by selecting Edit - Preferences - Appearance - Fonts

Although the two web browsers mentioned above might be helpful, they do not offer the same level of access as the magnification software packages developed by specialist software suppliers. The Royal National Institute for the Blind (RNIB) website provides in-depth information for the partially sighted.

If you have little or no vision, the internet can be accessed using a speaking browser and refreshable Braille displays. A speaking browser reads aloud the contents of the entire website. Braille displays translate the site's content into Braille, which can be read by touch. Visit the RNIB website for details of technology designed to help if you have a visual disability.

If you have physical disabilities then the AbilityNet website provides information that can help you make better use of computers.

If you are still having problems in accessing any information on this website, or have a question that you want to ask, please email us at helpdesk@Bifax.co.uk

Terms and Conditions

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY. THEY CONTAIN IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS, AS WELL AS LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS THAT APPLY TO YOUR PURCHASES.

The following terms and conditions govern your use of this Site and the purchase of products by you through this Site. By using this Site and placing an order with us, you are indicating your acceptance of the following terms and conditions (the "Terms and Conditions"). The Terms and Conditions shall supplement any subsequent terms or conditions included with any purchase order, whether or not such terms or conditions are signed by us. We reserve the right to make changes to this Site and these Terms and Conditions at any time.

Terms and Conditions

1. Right of cancellation and returns policy
As our valued customer you have the unconditional right to cancel your contract within 7 working days of delivery, without being obliged to state any reasons. To comply with this time limit, all you need to do is to return the goods bought online within the 7-day period by e-mail, telephone or fax.

For the return address please contact your supplier directly. The details of your supplier will be on your order confirmation email and on your invoice.

If you return goods bought online, the purchasing contract is cancelled and you will be refunded once the delivered goods have been returned. Should the goods show signs of use or damage on return, we reserve the right to appropriate compensation.

We must request that you to return goods at your own cost. You will find all the details necessary for returning goods on your order confirmation email.

If the goods arrive damaged, please contact your supplier for a full refund. Faulty goods are fully refundable, inclusive of delivery and return costs. Please inform your supplier within the first 2 days of arrival, of faulty goods or goods damaged in transit.

Your statutory rights as a customer are not affected by any of these conditions.

2. Conclusion of the contract
Before submitting your order, step 3 of the ordering process ("Preview") offers you the chance to check all the details again (e.g. name, address, payment method and items ordered) and make changes if necessary.

Once you have gone through the ordering process by entering the details as prompted, you make a binding offer to purchase the goods from the approved Supplier by clicking on the button "Place order" in the section "Step 3 of your order".

This offer is accepted (and the contract thereby concluded) by dispatching the goods you ordered. The contract is therefore brought about when the goods you ordered are dispatched. In certain cases, we may ask you for proof of identification and generally reserve the right not to enter into contract.

The details of your order are electronically stored. If you would like a printed copy, you can print out the "Order confirmation" which appears on your screen once you have submitted your order. If you have provided us with your email address, you will also receive all the relevant details of your order by e-mail, which you can also print out directly.

3. Dispatch & Delivery
Deliveries can only be made while stocks last. In the case that goods are not deliverable, we reserve the right to accept an offer in part. Delivery costs will be calculated on the resulting order value and charged only once.

We deliver to the United Kingdom (incl. Northern Ireland). After an order is shipped, which is usually completed within one-two working days of its receipt, it usually takes three to four working days for it to arrive.

Please note that all deliveries must be signed for. The delivery service will deliver either to you personally, or leave your order with a neighbour. The driver will leave you a written note stating the whereabouts of your package. In the case that no one was available to receive the delivery; the note will state a specific post office or depot where you can pick up your delivery within the following 7 days.

Please contact us directly for Trade or Wholesale orders.

4. Prices and delivery costs
All Prices are inclusive of any applicable VAT. We aim to dispatch your order within 2-4 working days. For some more specialised items or if the item is out of stock, this may take longer.
The cost of shipping all goods to UK mainland addresses is not included in the selling price but will be added before checkout. Please contact us for approximate shipping costs to other destinations. These postage and packing fees will depend upon the destination and the size and weight of your order.
Should delivery be undertaken in several stages for technical or logistic reasons, we will of course only charge you once for delivery costs.

5. Reservation of ownership
All goods remain unqualified property of the approved distributor until payment has been received in full.

6. Payment, due date, failure to pay
Payment for goods is to be made by credit card only. Unfortunately, we cannot accept payment sent in the form of cash or cheques. We accept no responsibility for loss.

We will not charge your card until your goods are ready for shipping.

Please see our Returns section for how to return goods.

Should your credit card have insufficient credit, we reserve the right to invoice you for the costs incurred in making requests for payment.

7. Identity of the contracting partner
Any contract entered into is concluded with an approved distributor, depending on the goods ordered and the area in which you live.

8. Miscellaneous
The terms and conditions of this contract are in accordance with EU law,  even when ordering from or delivering to a country other than the United Kingdom. All points of these terms and conditions remain valid, even if one of the above points is invalid. We reserve the right to change these terms & conditions from time to time and recommend that you should look through them on a regular basis.
